This tour will give you the chance to take the most of the old Italian traditions, savoring the flavor of the peaceful countrysides, tasting the freshly backed bread, the numerous wines and popular home made dishes . This tour touches 5 different Italian regions each one with its own peculiarity, some of them are most known some others are minor and we will reserve the pleasure to introduce them to you in all their splendor. Tuscany will offer us its countryside with hundreds of colors and the enchanting Chianti region with the famous wine production. We will taste the wines and the local products like jams, cold cuts and other regional specialities. Lazio Region is not only Rome and its magnificent art, but also amazing landscapes with the lakes and hills surrounding it. Agropontino area and Frascati offers good cuisine and one of the most renowned wine production of central Italy. In Apulia and Basilicata regions we will discover other special places like Matera and its incredible city center cut into the stone ; the famous archaeological area called Sassi, for which Matera is popular all over the world. Together with Matera, Altamura is the capital of the bread production in southern Italy. We cannot miss the opportunity to visit one of the bakeries assisting to the traditional making of the famous “pane di Altamura” and the biscuits called Taralli. You will be enchanted by Alberobello which offers us an old-age tradition in making bread, oil and… a very special scenario; the Trulli houses, that makes this place a very unique site that’s surely worth a visit. Abruzzo region will come at last and will disclose its charm on the beautiful shores of the eastern riviera where the famous Trabocchi , ancient fisherman stilt-houses miraculously supported by a net of planks and ropes, are nowadays opened to the public for delicious lunches on the sea and a ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE.
